Members only snooker club

The owner and inspiration behind the creation of The Reardon members only snooker club is David Deakes. In 1954 at 16 years of age he won the boys Billiard Championship of Great Britain, having only being playing the game himself for 10 months. Since then he was always interested in the snooker scene and wanted to provide facilities for young players offering the best conditions and opportunities, that is when he decided to build his own club in Hanley. In 1983 the Reardon opened its doors and since then he has coached 3 players over the years who have gained professional status, the last one being Brandon Sargeant.

We have 8 steel blocked tables, all are championship standard and maintained daily. We also have a further two tables in a private room where our professionals practise daily.
